About The Church

Set in an ancient circular churchyard, the church is mentioned as being in existence in 1183. There are medieval lancet windows on both sides of the chancel and a priest's door on the south side. The nave was rebuilt in 1847 and extensively repaired in 2000. The Church registers date from 1765 (facsimiles held at St.Mary’s).

To find the church take the B4520 due south from the centre of Builth Wells. The church is set on the roadside on your left, or south side on the crest of a hill. Take care as there is no parking; although the road is quiet, visibility by the church is obstructed.
