About The Church

All that remains of this small isolated church is a sheltered yard with an altar built of the stones from the ruined building. The church itself was demolished for safety after it fell into ruin in the 20th century. There are a few memorial stones remaining and the community traditionally hold an annual service on the first Sunday in June.

To find the site take the B4520 due south from the centre of Builth Wells, past Llandewi'r Cwm Church and cointinuing past the two left turns. The road narrows and rises steeply through wooded land, then as the road levels near the top of the hill there is as clear sign marking the site through a farm gate.
The site is set down the hill from the road, through another gate then set to the left of the second field.
Take care as there is no parking; although the road is quiet, visibility by the gate is obstructed.
